Leaking Joints
Plumbing fittings are very reliable but do from time to time fail and start to leak, the leak can be very small and sometimes hard to find or in extreme cases the joint can be blown off the pipe causing a major leak.
Combination boilers or combi boilers as they are often referred to can require topping up from time to time, this could be a sign that there is a leak within the system, especially if you find yau are topping the system up every few months.
